Team Academy Spring and Fall Open Tryouts (players 8 yrs and older)

We hold formal tryouts in the winter (December/January) and summer (June/July) every year for our Team Academy players (players 8 yrs and older). Each year, the Gryphons Soccer Club adds one age group consisting of 2-3 new boys teams and 2-3 new girls teams. We also welcome talented players to join our existing teams.

Tryout decisions are made within a week of the tryout sessions. Each age group coordinator or head age group coach makes individual phone calls to the families of all players invited to join the club. This conversation gives families the opportunity to receive feedback and ask questions.


Team Academy Mid-Season and Ongoing Tryouts (players 8 yrs and older)

Did you miss our open tryouts? We are always looking for dedicated players who love playing competitive soccer to join our teams. If you could not make it to our spring or fall tryouts, or you have children interested in our 2010 competitive soccer training program, please email an Age Group Coordinator or the Director of Coaching for more information.


Pre-Academy (players 3 to 8 yrs old)

If you are looking for programs for players who are 3 to 8 yrs old, take a look at the Beginning Soccer programs offered by our Pre-Academy. There are no tryouts to join our Pre-Academy.
