Your Team Manager maintains this roster, the season schedule, and all the team paperwork. If you do not yet have access to your team's online roster and schedule, contact your Team Manager.


Team Communication

All team communication is facilitated by the Team Manager. At the start of the season, the Team Manager or Age Group Coordinator sets up a season kick-off meeting so families can get to know their team logistics and ask questions. Thereafter, team schedule changes and club announcements are relayed to the team by the manager.


Uniforms

The Gryphons Soccer Club (GSC) has chosen Xara as their exclusive uniform supplier. All uniform items listed below must be ordered through the GSC. Your team manager or coach will help you coordinate the uniform order. Please note that both game and practice kits must bear the Xara logo. Attire with other brands' logos is not allowed, as it will violate the club's agreement with Xara. In addition to the game and practice kit, every player must wear shin guards and soccer cleats to all practices and games. Any brand is acceptable for these items.

Volunteering

As a non-profit organization, we must keep expenses down to a minimum. The GSC requires that each family volunteer each season. There are many volunteer opportunities to suit every schedule and skill - you may learn something new in the process! Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

- Team Manager
- Field Lining
- Snack Scheduler
- Tournament Coordinator
- Photographer
- Webmaster
- Plus many others!

At your season kick-off meeting, your Team Manager will present the different opportunities available.


Fundraising

The GSC offers programs that surpass those of other clubs in the peninsula while keeping costs to a minimum. Our fees include extras not provided by other clubs such as Fitness With The Ball (FWTB), extra practices, and participation in play dates and tournaments – extras that enrich the overall experience for your children. We are able to do this through fundraising efforts by our small but growing group of fundraising volunteers.

Each Gryphons family is requested to provide five hours of assistance in GSC fundraising efforts. Look here for more information on current GSC fundraising programs.


Parent Meetings

The GSC conducts periodic meetings with parents to convey information and gather feedback. This is a forum for parents to connect with various members of the club including coaching and volunteer staff.
