Mark your calendars! The season schedule for our popular Beginning Soccer (Pre-Academy and Grasshoppies) programs for 3-8 yr olds is now available. These programs will run once a week from March through November. The sessions will be held at the Hillsdale High School turf field between 9am and 10.30am.

The next installment of our popular 6-week Skills Clinic is now open for registration. Our skills clinic is based on the Coerver coaching methodology. Each week, players will discover new moves for improving their all-round ball familiarity and skills. The skills taught will help players learn how to beat opponents 1v1, how to use footwork to get out of a pressured situation, and how to change direction in a game. The clinic will run from January 30, 2012 to March 5, 2012 and is available to both Gryphons and non-Gryphons players.

The Gryphons held very successful tryouts for new players on the weekends between November 1, 2011 and December 17, 2011. Given the good turnout, we will be adding players to all age groups and forming several new teams for the upcoming Spring season.

Mark your calendars! The 2012 GSC Summer Camp schedule is now available. Our summer camps are an excellent way for your children to train with qualified personable staff.

Our 2012 Winter Program will run for 10 consecutive weeks on Sundays from January 8 through March 11 , and is open to Gryphons and non-Gryphons players. Modeled around the Fiorentina method, the sessions will be 1.5 hours long with the last 1/2 hour or so left for the players to compete in small sided 4x4 games. Last year, this program greatly benefited our players in preparing them for the spring season, and in developing their athletic and coordination abilities as well as psycho-motor skills that are universally beneficial for many sports.

Mark your calenders! The GSC will be holding tryouts to add new players (ages 8 yrs and up) to our Spring 2012 Team Academy rosters. We will be adding to our existing teams and also creating new teams. If you are interested in our Pre-Academy program for 3 to 8 yr old players, look here.

The GSC is proud to announce our new Pre-Academy Skills Clinic offered to players 3-6 yrs old over a period of 5 weeks. Each week the players will be taken on a journey through soccer, learning different lessons along the way. The player will have a ball at their feet at all times, learning how to move the ball with balance, skill and intelligence. Every week will have very similar topics coached in very different ways to engage the players and develop their love for the beautiful game.

The third session of our popular Pre-Academy and Grasshoppies programs for 3-8 yr olds is about to start on August 28, 2011. If you haven't yet registered for it, there is still time. These programs will run once a week from August 28, 2011 through October 9, 2011. The session will be held at the Hillsdale High School turf field.
