'02G Red Captures State Cup Gold
| After months of preparation and focused effort, the Gryphons 02 Red girls won the Norcal State Cup Gold medal in Manteca on November 20th by defeating Placer United Soccer Club Elite 4-0. The Gryphons final run to gold included an impressive spread of single elimination games marked by a 4-0 Quarter Final; a 4-0 Semi-Final; and a 4-0 Final. |

'01B Red - 2011 Norcal State Cup Champs
The GSC is proud to announce that our '01 Boys Red team are the 2011 Norcal State Cup Champions. This year 116 U10 boys teams from Northern California entered the NorCal Premier State Cup. All of the teams played 6 preliminary round of games that determined seeding for the quarter finals. On Sunday November 21st, the 4th seed Gryphons '01B Red defeated 5th seed Palo Alto and earned their way into Norcal State Cup Semi-finals to be played on November 19th against Cap FC United of Sacramento.
'02B Red finish second at Breakers Halloween Cup
| The '02 Boys Red team won 2nd place, losing 1st place in overtime in the final game at the 2011 Santa Cruz Breakers Halloween Cup. The boys got to the final undefeated with 5-1, 7-2, 2-0 wins over their opponents. |  '02B at Breakers Halloween Cup |
'99G Red - 2011 Soccer Palooza Champions
The Gryphons '99 Red girls team (U12) won the Union City Premier SoccerPalooza Tournament, held Sept 24-25. The team battled to win all four games, scoring 14 goals and allowing 5. The final match ended in regulation time with a 2-2 tie, and sent the teams into Penalty Kicks. The Gryphons girls prevailed and won the game 5-3, becoming the 2011 SoccerPalooza U-12 Champions. Congratulations to Coach Ricardo Marta, Jr., and the team for playing some great soccer.
'01 Boys - Santa Rosa United Cup champions
| The Gryphons '01 Red boys team (U10) won the Santa Rosa United Academy Cup Tournament in Santa Rosa this past weekend. The team had an impressive showing, allowing only 2 goals in 4 games while scoring 14. '01 Girls are 2011 Mustang Stampede finalists
| The Gryphons 01G Red team were Finalists in the U10 Gold Division in the 31st Annual Mustang Stampede tournament in Danville. The girls played very impressive soccer. They went undefeated in the preliminary, quarter and semi-final games with a 5-0 record and a 20-3 goal differential, until a very tough finals matchup in a very close 0-1 game. |  |
'02 Girls come in 2nd at Azuri Summer Classic
| The GSC '02 Red Girls team took 2nd place at the 2011 Azuri Summer Classic tournament this year in July. This was the very first tournament outing for this team, and we are thrilled to see the girls showcasing their technical skills and already working on their possession play as a team. |  02G Red - Azuri Summer Success! |
98G and 99G take 2011 Futsal championship!
| At the 2011 U.S. Futsal U12G Northwest Regional Finals, a combined Gryphons 98 Girls and 99 Girls team emerged as champions. The team comprised 6 of our 99G players and 4 98G players. '00 Boys make top 8 at Norcal State Cup
| The Gryphons '00 Boys Red team finished in 7th place in their age group at the Norcal State Cup. Even though game results are not a priority at this developmental stage, it was nice to see the boys making it to the top 8 group in NorCal State Cup, and gradually consolidating as one of the top teams in the Peninsula in U10 Boys. |  00B at State Cup |
