Gryphons hold successful tryouts for 2012 teams
The Gryphons held very successful tryouts for new players on the weekends between November 1, 2011 and December 17, 2011. Given the good turnout, we will be adding players to all age groups and forming several new teams for the upcoming Spring season.

GSC now a member of Adidas Alliance
| The GSC is proud to announce its membership in the Adidas Alliance, a strategic alliance formed by Adidas Soccer in conjunction with 5 of the top youth soccer programs in the Northern California Bay Area, to provide a player identification and development program for talented soccer players in the younger age groups. |
GSC to host Norcal playdate #4 in 2011
The Gryphons SC is thrilled to announce that the NorCal Premier Soccer Board of Directors has approved our competitive bid to host a playdate in the upcoming 2011 season.
The GSC will host playdate #4 (for teams U8-U10) on Sunday, May 15th 2011, at Morgan Hill Youth Sports Complex. We are expecting a sold out event with 19 8x8 fields, 228 games, and 152 teams.
Announcing the GSC Fall Fundraising Program
By popular request and in time for the fall/winter season, the GSC fundraising committee will be offering MLS style Gryphons Soccer scarves for sale. 40% of the proceeds from these fundraising activities will be shared with the age groups for tournaments and equipment.

Today we would like to reach out to all of you with a moving short story. Miranda Bosley (Gryphons 98G - player #29), a great kid and a beautiful family, loved playing soccer until one day what appeared to be a small bump on her wrist turned out to be a serious illness.

GSC adds NorCal co-founder to coaching staff!
GSC is proud to announce the addition of coach Paolo Bonomo to our coaching staff. Coach Paolo is the one of the co-founders and a board member of NorCal Premier Soccer.
Additionally, Paolo is Program Director for the NorCal Player Development Program (PDP), a program that brings together the best players in NorCal for focused training. He is also a master trainer in the AC Fiorentiona method.
