Close to two decades of excellence

The Gryphons started in 1993 for the purpose of preparing committed youth athletes to play competitive soccer at the highest levels.

The club was rebuilt in 2008 from the ground up and was re-incorporated as the Gryphons Soccer Club with an entirely new management team.

Blazing the trail

The Gryphons continue to incorporate new and innovative programs to support player development.

• First offered in 1997, our Champions Summer Camps have long been a popular way for young players to continue their training through the summer months. The GSC has since added winter programs that offer players a way to stay in shape in-between playing seasons.
• In early 2009, the Gryphons Soccer Club became partners with Redwood Alliance Youth Soccer (RAY Soccer), as part of a pilot program to cater to exceptionally talented players.
• In fall 2009, the GSC incorporated the AC Fiorentina Player Development curriculum into its training programs.
• In the summer of 2010, the GSC entered into partnership with iSoccer for player development. In fall 2010, iSoccer was made available club-wide to all players.
• In spring 2011, the GSC was invited to become part of the Adidas Alliance to provide accelerated training opportunities for 9-11 year old players as part of the Adidas Junior Training Program.

Web Technology and Media

Thanksgiving, 2009, the GSC launched its new website, bringing with it integration with several web tools and social media components. We continue to apply and incorporate new technology in our processes and communication to become more efficient and stay in touch with families.

Giving back to our community

Over the years, Gryphons players and families have generously initiated and contributed to programs that benefit the community in many different ways.

The GSC encourages players, coaches, and families to participate in such programs, knowing they can count on our support. We strongly believe giving back to the community is an essential part of the learning process for our young players.
