If you cannot attend the tryouts but are still interested in playing for a Gryphons team, or you have younger children 4-7 years old interested in our 2010 competitive soccer training program, please email one of the Age Group Coordinators listed above or the Director of Programs for more information.

Tryout Essentials

  • Participation Forms: All players should download, fill out, and bring a Tryout Information and Liability Release form to their tryout session.

  • Attendance: In order to be properly assessed by the coach, players must arrive on time in proper attire, and with form filled out in advance if possible.

  • Attire: Players should be dressed to play in shin guards, appropriate cleats (no baseball cleats permitted), long socks, shorts and a t-shirt.

  • Water and Jacket: Please also send water and a jacket in your child's backpack.

Tryout Results

Tryout decisions will be made within a week of the tryout sessions. Each Age Group Coordinator or head age group coach will make individual phone calls to the families of all players invited to join the club. This conversation gives families the opportunity to receive feedback and ask questions.
